WHAT IS WEDNESDAY'S HAUL? Wednesday's Haul is a new weekly feature here at View From the Cheap Seats. For the past month or so, I've been wanting to do something different. Some days, it was going to be something different with the blog. Then other days, it was something different with the podcast. I had even gone so far as to record a proto Wednesday's Haul podcast a couple of weeks ago, a #0 issue, but ended up abandoning it. The main problem was I enjoy both blogging and podcasting. In a cathartic way, they're both fun to do and less structured than reviews for Pop Syndicate. Over the weekend, it finally dawned on me: why not take all of my ideas and combine them into both a blog and a podcast!!! Stupid, isn't it? Each week on either Tuesday or Wednesday, there will be a new Wednesday's Haul, a combination blog and podcast. Some features will be up on the blog and others will be featured in a short 15-30 minute podcast. This week, I hope to have an even balance on the blog and podcast of features and reviews but that may not always be the case. It kind of depends how I feel any given week. Some weeks the podcast may have more stuff than the blog and vice versa other weeks. The first rule of this is that there are no rules. Well, other than a Wednesday deadline, there are no rules.
